Turn completed tasks into a record of your day

Start for free

Overview

The Todoist integration connects via OAuth 2.0 and collects your completed tasks each day. Task titles, descriptions, project and section names, labels, priorities, and timestamps are used to build a productivity section in your daily diary — giving you a clear picture of what you accomplished.

Use cases

  • Automatically logs every task you completed and when you finished it
  • Groups completed tasks by project so you can see where your effort went
  • Adds productivity context alongside meetings, messages, and other activity in your diary

Data collected

  • Completed tasks — title, optional description, added time, and completion time
  • Project & section — resolved project name and section name for each task
  • Labels & priority — user-defined labels and priority level (1 = normal, 4 = urgent)
  • Daily summary — total tasks completed and list of unique project names

Only tasks completed during the diary period are collected (up to 1,000 per day). Active/pending tasks, comments, and attachments are not accessed. No tasks are modified or deleted.

Sample diary excerpt

March 12, 2026

Tasks completed

9 tasks across 3 projects today.

Work (4 tasks): Sent quarterly report to Tanaka-san, replied to client email about Friday's meeting, organized shared drive folders, ordered new toner for the printer.

Personal (3 tasks): Booked dentist appointment for next Thursday, picked up dry cleaning, ordered birthday gift for Mom.

Meal planning (2 tasks): Decided on this week's menu, bought groceries at the supermarket on the way home.

A solid day — stayed on top of work deadlines and got the weekly grocery run done.
