Overview

The Google Calendar integration reads your calendar events and meetings to provide context for your daily diary. It captures what you attended, who you met with, and how your day was structured.

Use cases

Records meetings, calls, and appointments from your calendar
Adds context about who you met and what was discussed
Helps the AI understand the structure and rhythm of your day

Data collected

Events — title, start/end time, duration, location
Attendees — names and response status (accepted, declined, tentative)
Calendar metadata — which calendar each event belongs to

Only events from selected calendars are collected. Event descriptions are optionally included.

calendar.readonly — Read-only access to your Google Calendar events. deariary cannot create, edit, or delete any events.
